According to Frackville Police Chief Rick bell, Around 12:45pm, Wednesday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 924 near Frackville in the area of the "rock cut" for a 2 car crash with entrapment.
According to Police, a Black Honda Accord, heading south, towards Frackville on Route 924 lost control in the area of the "rock cut", crossed the median, and into the path of a Buick SUV. The Accord was reported to be traveling at a high rate of speed.
Both vehicles struck head on.
A female driver of the Buick SUV and a female passenger in the Honda Accord had to be cut from their vehicles and another died at the scene.
Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Andrew Szczyglak pronounced Jason Naspinsky, 37, of Mahanoy Plane dead at the scene.
The female victims identities have not been released or the severity of their injuries.
Route 924 was closed for several hours while the scene was cleared.
