Wanted Ashland Man Faces Additional Charges Attempting to Flee from Police

A wanted Ashland man is facing charges after attempting to flee from authorities.

According to Ashland Police, they received a call Tuesday morning from the Attorney General's Office, who stated they were on an investigation at 1420 Walnut Street.

While they were there, a male climbed out of the 3rd Story window, went across to the neighboring house at 1422 Walnut Street, then laid on the porch behind a railing.

When Chief Gerard Daley arrived on scene, he refused to come off the porch.

Chief Daley climbed to the porch and found Jeffrey Sartori, 32, of Ashland, who was wanted by Ashland Police.

At this time, Sartori jumped up and attempted to bust through the from door of 1422 but failed.  He then busted through the front window of the home.

After realizing he wasn't getting away, he surrendered to police.

Sartori suffered a large laceration to his left arm and was treated by EMS at the scene.

He was then transported to Schuylkill County Prison by Adult Probation.

Sartori is facing additional charges after the incident.

Also charged in the incident is Sartori's girlfriend, Chrystal Gill, 33, of Ashland.  She is facing charges of hindering apprehension.
