Woman Wanted in Florida Taken into Custody in Shenandoah

A woman who was wanted in Florida was taken into custody last month in Shenandoah.

According to Shenandoah Police, on Thursday, May 30, 2019, around 10:30pm, Officers Adam Sajone and William Moyer were dispatched to the 300 Block of West Centre Street for a disturbance called in by Jill Kostowskie involving her boyfriend.

An investigation led to the finding that Kostowskie had a warrant for her arrest from Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Florida, for felony Grand Theft.

Kostowskie was charged with being a fugitive from justice and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Reily who set bail at $50,000 straight cash and committed to Schuylkill County Prison to later be extradited to Florida.
