Police Investigating Reports of Shots Fired Late Sunday in Shenandoah

Shenandoah, State, and other local police departments responded to reports of shots fired late Sunday in Shenandoah.

According to Shenandoah Police, officers were called around 10:00pm, Sunday to the area of West Oak Street and South Gilbert Street for a report of shots fired.

Police and borough officials say evidence found at the scene suggest that an incident took place and nobody was struck by any of the shots.

Shenandoah Police Officer William Moyer stated that anyone with information on the incident, may have witnessed the event, or seen anything unusual should contact borough police by calling (570) 462-1991.

Assisting Shenandoah Police at the scene were the Pennsylvania State Police, Frackville Police, and Mahanoy City Police.
