WEATHER ALERT: Flash Flood Watch Issued for Monday Afternoon and Evening

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Schuylkill County for Monday afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill, and York.

* From Monday afternoon through late Monday night

* Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms capable of producing very heavy rain are likely. Intense rain rates may result in localized rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches in a short duration, which could result in significant flash flooding.
