Ashland Police Looking for Suspect that Stole ATV Last Week

Police in Ashland are investigating and are looking for a suspect in the theft of an ATV last week.

Update:  The suspect was taken into custody on Monday afternoon in this case.

According to Ashland Police, they are investigating the theft of an ATV in the 1900 Block of Walnut Street in the borough.

Police say after someone reported their red and white Polaris Trailboss ATV missing, the victim reviewed security cam footage with police that showed Michael Fickinger, 25, of Ashland around 5:30am, Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 loitering around the residence for a few minutes.

Police recognized Fickinger from previous arrests.

In the footage, Fickinger leaves the location, then returns where he proceeds to push the ATV backwards out of the resident's yard.

Fickinger leaves with the ATV north on 19th Street and out of the camera's view.

Police have issued a warrant for Fickinger's arrest and are still trying to locate the ATV.

Fickinger is facing charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property.
