The Frackville Borough Council has announced changes in the date and location of their next meeting to honor a member of the community.
Frackville Borough Council will be holding their August Council Meeting at the Frackville Elks (located on Third and Arch Streets) on MONDAY, August 12, 2019 at 7 pm.
The location was changed to Frackville Elks to accommodate the anticipated large attendance for this meeting.
At this meeting borough council will be honoring one of Frackville's beloved citizens John Chuma, a Vietnam Veteran who has dedicated his time to many numerous youth organizations.
In late June-early July of 2019 the Baseball Field located at the Memorial Park was renamed the John Chuma Teener Field.
John had coached four Schuylkill County Championship Teams 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017 along with mentoring numerous athletics within our area.
