Shenandoah Man Locked up for Public Drunkenness and Violating Parole

A Shenandoah man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on public drunkenness charges and for violating parole.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 around 9:50 am, troopers observed Stephen Mackeravage, 48, of Shenandoah, causing a disturbance at the corner of Main Street and West Lloyd Street.

Troopers found Mackeravage to be under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he was a danger to himself and others.

Mackeravage was taken into custody by State Parole, who was assisting at the scene, for violating his parole and transported to Schuylkill County Prison.
