Two Injured in Crash near Gordon Friday Afternoon

Two people were injured in a crash near Gordon Friday afternoon.


Around 4:15pm, Friday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Biddle Street and Valley Hill Road, in Butler Township, just east of Gordon for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

According to Butler Township Police, the crash occurred when a mini van collided with a Kia Forte.

A passenger in the mini van had become entrapped beneath the mini van, which required emergency personnel from Ashland and Gordon to free the woman.  She was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

An adult and 2 children also in the mini van were not injured.

Responding to the scene was the Gordon Fire Dept., Lavelle Fire Dept., Washington Ambulance, Minersville EMS, and Gordon Fire Police.
