Woman and Two Juveniles Charged for Disposing Over 300 Tires on Vacant Motel Lot

A woman and two juveniles were charged for disposing over 300 tires on the lot of a former motel in North Manheim Township.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Saturday, August 10, 2019 troopers responded to a call involving individuals disposing tires onto the parking lots of the former Days north of Cressona, in North Manheim Township.

When troopers arrived, they determined June Kuzowski, 61, of Schuylkill Haven had two 15 year old juveniles load tires from an auto garage, then transport the tires with a UHaul to the parking lot with the intent to dispose of the tires onto the lots.

Troopers said at least 330 tires were observed scattered on the lots.

Kuzowski was criminally charged with scattering rubbish and corruption of minors.

The juveniles were charged with scattering rubbish.

All charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge James Ferrier's office.
