Health Network Laboratories Announces Third Patient Service Center in Schuylkill County

Health Network Laboratories (HNL), a leader in high quality, innovative laboratory medicine services, has announced the opening of a third Patient Service Center (PSC) in Schuylkill County.

The new facility, located in the back of the Lehigh Valley Physicians Group Obstetrics and Gynecology-Comprehensive Women’s Health Services Building (171 Red Horse Road, Pottsville, PA 17901), provides convenient walk-in access to state-of-the-art lab testing. Patients can visit Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“Expanding our services to the patients in Schuylkill County is a priority. And by extension, we want to play a part in improving the health of the community and region by making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and convenient,” said Maria Foster, Senior Vice President of Business Development for HNL. “By establishing the new PSC in the LVPG’s Comprehensive Women’s Health Services Building we are also making a statement of our commitment to women’s health. Preventive medicine through regular screening tests can help women exercise more responsibility and control over their health,” said Foster.

At HNL’s Patient Service Centers, appointments are not needed and wait times are typically less than 15 minutes. Walk-in patients can access an extensive array of tests from routine blood work to the most advanced genetic screening. Most tests are completed within 24 hours after reaching HNL's reference laboratory in the Lehigh Valley and results can be viewed on their free patient portal, MyHNLAccess.

Patients needing in-home assistance can utilize HNL’s house call service, in which a dedicated lab technician travels to a patient’s home eliminating the need to drive or leave the comfort of home. Patients can call 1-855-373-6262 to schedule an in-home appointment.

HNL accepts all insurance plans and will directly bill a patient’s primary insurance company. HNL has a patient-friendly billing policy and provides easy access to express pay, self-pay, and other online billing support services.
