Jim Thorpe's attempt to have an undefeated season came to an end during Week 6.Jim Thorpe went into Week 6 undefeated and not allowing anyone to score since Week 1 against Schuylkill Haven.
North Schuylkill wanted to end that streak and it all came to an end Friday night in Fountain Springs.
From the start, the Spartans came out and jumped to a 14-0 lead. The Olympians would push back and bring close the gap to within 1 in the 2nd Quarter.
By halftime the score was 20-13.
It was halftime again where the Spartans found their rhythm and dominated the second half.
North Schuylkill widened their lead and only allowed Jim Thorpe to score once more.
The final score, North Schuylkill over Jim Thorpe 41-20.
North Schuylkill's Zack Chowansky proved to be a key player in Friday night's game with 4 touchdowns.
