Schuylkill County Man Found with Over 2,400 Bags of Heroin During Traffic Stop in Hazleton

A Schuylkill County man was found with over 2,400 bags of heroin during a traffic stop in Hazleton.


According to Hazleton Police, on Wednesday night, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Church Street and Buttonwood Street for a violation.

The occupants of the vehicle, Brandon Cooper, 25, of Auburn, and Stefan Jordan were found to be in possession of over 2,400 bags of heroin.

Hazleton Police have charged them both with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy with possession with intent to deliver.

They were both arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joseph D. Zola and locked up in Luzerne County Prison unable to post $50,000 cash bail.
