Missing Female from New York Possibly in Schuylkill County


A female that has been missing in the state of New York is thought to be in the Pottsville area.

Update 3:55pm - Lapp was located in Pottsville on Monday afternoon.  Photos have been removed as well.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 14 year old that has been reported missing since September 23rd, could be in the Schuylkill County after a recent cell phone ping put her in the Pottsville area.

From New York Police,

SP Amity, Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are attempting to locate Molton R. Lapp, 14 years old from the town of Genesee, Allegany County. Lapp was last seen on September 23, 2019 at her residence. Lapp left a note stating she was leaving the area with an unknown individual and has traveled to an unknown location. Lapp is believed to be outside New York State, possibly within the state of Pennsylvania. Lapp was last seen wearing a white shirt with black sleeves and a collar (pictured below).
