No Injuries Reported After Crash at Redner's Intersection on the Gold Star Highway near Shenandoah

No injuries were reported after a two car crash at the Redner's intersection on the Gold Star Highway near Shenandoah Wednesday morning.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the two vehicle crash occurred just before 12:00pm.

Police say Alan Shinkus, 70, of Frackville, was in the northbound left hand turn lane and turned into the path of Vincent Anthony, 25, of Minersville, who was heading south on Route 924.

Anthony's vehicle struck the right side of Shinkus' vehicle.

Both drivers, and a passenger of Anthony's were wearing their seat belts and were not injured.  Multiple airbags deployed in the crash.

Both vehicles were severely damaged and were towed from the scene.
