UPDATE: Over 2,000 homes are without power early Friday in Schuylkill County.According to PPL, as of 7:00am, Friday, 2,037 homes were without power across Schuylkill County.
Over 26,000 homes are without power in Pennsylvania.
The biggest outage was reported in Cass Township, South Manheim Township, Ryan Township, and West Penn Township. There are many smaller outages around the entire county.
PPL is reporting the weather as the cause to all the outages.
Estimated time for when power would be restored was not provided.
