The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for this weekend into Monday.
WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches possible, with the highest amounts over Sullivan County. Ice accumulations of a light coating to one quarter of an inch possible, with the greatest amounts over the high terrain of Sullivan County.
* WHERE...Schuylkill, Columbia and Sullivan Counties.
* WHEN...Mixed precipitation will overspread the area Sunday morning. The mixed precipitation could diminish late Sunday, then change to a period of accumulating snow Sunday night into Monday.
* IMPACTS...Untreated roads and sidewalks could become icy.
