Overdose Call Leads to Two Arrests; People Found to be Squatting and Stealing Electricity

Two people are in custody after an overdose call in Shenandoah late Thursday.


According to Shenandoah Police, around 7:45pm, emergency personnel responded to 21-23 North Main Street in the borough for a report of an overdose.

When officials arrived the found the patient, along with multiple people squatting in the apartments, as well as stealing power from a nearby meter.  Police also stated the conditions of the apartments were unfit for living, with drugs and drug paraphernalia being found as well.

At the time of the incident, two people were taken in custody.  Those two were Cheyenne Sensenbach, 26, who was wanted as part of a drug sweep on December 17th, 2019 for conspiracy to deliver fentanyl.  She was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 cash bail.

Also taken into custody was James Hall, 46, of Ringtown, who was wanted in Berks County and other charges.

Along with EMS, assisting police at the scene were police from West Mahanoy Township, Frackville, Mahanoy City, and Mahanoy Township.

Code enforcement was also called to the scene to secure the property.
