Mary Anne Genovese, 76, of Minersville, passed away Sunday morning at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late James and Sophie Dudash Genovese.

She was a graduate of Minersville High School. She was a member of the former St. Barbara’s Church in Minersville and a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville. She was a retired garment worker having worked in the local garment industry.

She is survived by a brother Vincent and his wife Geraldine of Minersville; a nephew Dr. Jason Genovese and family of Bloomsburg; nieces Jennifer Connors and family of Robesonia and Jody Kensey and family of Syracuse N.Y.; also several cousins.

Private Services will be at the convenience of the family. The family would prefer remembrances of Mary Ann in the form of contributions to the Minersville Public Library, 220 South 4th St., Minersville, 17954. Arrangements are by the Donald J. Joseph A. Doran, 82, of Branchdale, passed away Thursday at ManorCare, Pottsville.

Born in Tremont, he was a son of the late Edmund and Agnes Savage Doran.

He was educated in St. Mary’s School, Tremont and attended the former Cass Twp. High School. He was retired from the Lebanon VA Hospital where he worked for 33 years in the Hospital Maintenance Dept. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was a member of the Muddy Creek Sportsman Club and the Branchdale Fire Co. He was a member of the former St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Branchdale and was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 2 brothers, Richard Doran and Gerald Doran.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Georgine Kanaval; 5 daughters, Cheryl DeLong and her husband Terry, Branchdale, Carolyn Tobin and her husband Jeff, Branchdale, Lisa Bass and her husband Ronnie, Tremont, Barbara Kostishak and her husband Mike, Black Diamond, and Karen Harris and her friend Jason; a son Joseph Doran and his wife Lisa, Llewellyn; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, Thursday in St. Matthew the Evangelist, 139 Spruce St., Minersville. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 8AM to 10AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St. Minersville. Interment will be in St. Mary Star of the Sea Cemetery, Llewellyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Joseph to the Citizens Fire Co. of Branchdale, Main St. Branchdale 17923. Elizabeth J. Krause, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Luther Ridge at Seiders Hill, Pottsville.
Born on May 21, 1928 in Schuylkill Haven, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Katie Lengle Deibert.
She was a graduate of Blue Mt. High School.
She was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Aid and Choir Guild.
Elizabeth worked as a machine operator for Canoe Mfg. in Pine Grove and Wrights Knitwear Corp. in Auburn.
She adored her grandchildren and loved gardening and reading.
Preceding her in death were her husband James C. Krause, a sister, Dorothy Wildermuth, two brothers, Earl Deibert and Robert Deibert and a step brother George "Skip" Wenrich.
Surviving are a daughter, Delores "Dolly" and husband Dale Renninger of Pine Grove; two grandsons, Brett and wife Tara Renninger, Brad and wife Stacie Renninger; 5 great-grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Casey and husband Nick Ferrari, Jenna and fiancé Austin Brown, and Kamryn.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., from Hetzel's Lutheran Church, 261 Hetzel's Church Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor Bob Kensinger officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Hunter William Renninger Scholarship Fund, Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, 216 S. Centre St. Pottsville, Pa. 17901 in her memory.
