Patricia A. "Pat" Weliconis, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, 67 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 while in the care of her family in Tamaqua.

Born Saturday, March 1, 1952 in Coaldale the daughter of the late Theodore and Helen (Kashmer) Moyer. She was also predeceased by her husband, Martin C. "Marty" Weliconis on July 17, 2005; sister, Loretta Boyer.

Surviving are; daughters, Tracey A. Zellers wife of David of Weatherly, Angela M. Weliconis and her fiancé Shawn Valentine of Tamaqua with whom she resided; son, Thomas C. Sherry and his wife Blythe of Coaldale; grand children, Sarah Hartzell and her husband Neil, Shane and Dillon Brown, Taylor Cichon, Dani Zellers; sisters, Diane Gallagher of Lansford, Helene Porambo of Lansford; brother, Theodore "Sonny" Moyer and his wife Edie of Tamaqua. Nieces and nephews also survive Pat.

Pat. worked for K-Mart in Hazleton for many years. She enjoyed going to the Casino's; however, her main devotion was to her family.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550

Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 20, 2019 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Patricia L. Nitolo, 80, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, December 17th at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community. Born on May 11th, 1939 in New York, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Veronica L. “Tarutis” Popoff.

She worked as a receptionist for many years. Patricia devoted herself to being a CCD Instructor, a volunteer at the Shenandoah Manor, working for Meals on Wheels, she loved cooking and baking, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Preceding her in death besides her parents, were her husband, Samuel J. Nitolo Sr., and a son, Samuel J. Nitolo Jr.

Surviving are 2 sons, Anthony L. Nitolo Sr. with Anne – Shenandoah, and Louis J. Nitolo with Mary – Shenandoah. 2 brothers, Boris Popoff with Marie – Phineyville, and Louis Popoff with Cheryl – Mahanoy City. 1 sister, Denise Kowalick with William – Lake Harmony. 7 grandchildren, Anthony Nitolo Jr., Angela Rose DiCasimirro, Deanna M. Nitolo, Crissa A. Noel, Dominic J. Nitolo, Phillip J. Nitolo, and Regina L. Nitolo. 8 step-grandchildren, Zachary, Stacy, Marc, Lexi, Brynna, Patty, Christopher, and Danny. 11 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Scripture Services will be conducted on Monday, December 23rd at 10:30am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah with Msgr. Ronald Bocian officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday morning at the funeral home from 8:30am until time of service. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
