Michael Piskorick, 68, of Zion Grove, Pa passed away on Wednesday, December 18th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, Pa.

Mike was born on July 21st, 1951 in Hazleton, Pa to the late Michael and Florence “Fadden” Piskorick.

He worked as a laborer for Steelcase in the Humboldt Industrial Park. Mike loved the outdoors, whether it be just walking in the woods, hunting with his sons, or target shooting. He was a member of the Bears Head Club, the Hazleton Owls Club, the Sheppton American Legion, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He found enjoyment in going to flea markets and looking for antiques, but above all else, he loved his family. Mike loved spending time with those he loved and to cook meals for his family, especially around the holidays.

He is survived by his wife, Marion Piskorick, 3 sons, Jason Piskorick with Katie – Zion Grove, Pa, David Piskorick with Katy – Oklahoma, and Michael Piskorick with Mike – Texas, 1 daughter, Tiffany Miller with John and their 5 children – Hazleton, Pa, 1 brother, Michael Badamo – Barnesville, Pa, 1 sister, Rosemary Moran – Sugarloaf, and 1 granddaughter, Michaela Wontroba and 1 great grandson.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Loretta Y. Kepple, R.N. 82 of Pottsville, died Tuesday morning at Providence Place, Pottsville.

She was born February 14, 1937 in Bainebridge a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Garland.

She was a graduate of Mt. Joy High School and Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as a nurse at the former Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic, prior to retiring.

Loretta was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Garland.

Surviving are 3 sons, Charles D. Kepple, Alan D. Kepple and Dave V. Kepple; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Carole Marsh; Nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday at 11AM from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 9-11AM. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions be made to Trinity United Church of Christ 316 W. Market St. Pottsville PA, 17901 or Compassus Hospice 1001 James Drive Suite B34, Leesport PA, 19533. Interment will be in St. John No. 2 Cemetery, Pottsville.
