Treasurer Linda Marchalk said, “My office has multiple areas to serve the citizens of Schuylkill County.” Small games of chance, bingo, hotel taxes, county real estate and per capita tax collecting. We also sell licenses for launch permits, hunting, fishing and dogs. State Law requires that all dogs three months of age or older are required to be licensed by January 1st and failure to license a dog can carry a fine of up to $300 per dog. Also, residents of Schuylkill County should prepare for the upcoming fishing season. Licenses are available year round. Multi-year fishing licenses and fishing license buttons are also available for purchase.

State dog wardens will begin canvassing in the spring and continue through the summer. Having extended hours give the residents of Schuylkill County the chance to be compliant with state law without taking time off from work. Dog licenses are also available online at www.padoglicense.com (fee applied) and a list of licensing agents is available at www.co.schuylkill.pa.us.
