The incident happened just after 3:00pm, Sunday, nearing the track crossing with Mermon Avenue. The derailment not only knocked the cars off the track but bent and broke the tracks along with railroad ties.
It turns out, Daniel Davis of Levittown, and Trainutjob videos was already chasing the train throughout the day and the derailment happened right in front of them as they were filming. Part of this video was already shared through the Times News, but this is the full video.
