Driver Flees After Crashing into Five Headstones near Ringtown

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating an incident where five headstones were damaged by a vehicle this past Sunday.


According to police, on February 2nd, 2020, a single vehicle crash occurred around 7:30am on Brandonville Road at St. John's Cemetery in Union Township near Ringtown.

Police say a red Ford Taurus went off the roadway while making a right hand curve and struck five headstones in the cemetery, removing them from their bases.

The vehicle then fled the scene heading west.

Police say the Ford Taurus should have front end damage.
