New Philadelphia Man Locked Up in Schuylkill County Prison for Assault

A New Philadelphia man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison for an alleged assault in the borough.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 around 11:30am, troopers were dispatched to Klim Avenue, in New Philadelphia for a physical domestic incident.

The female victim told Troopers that she got into a fight with Sean Sullivan, 36, of New Philadelphia  and he punched her in the face and threw her on the ground.

Sullivan was apprehended by police nearby, taken into custody, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Plachko, and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to pay $25,000 cash bail.

Sullivan was charged with Simple Assault and Harrassment.
