Saint Clair Police Take Two into Custody on Warrants in Separate Incidents

Two men wanted on active warrants were taken into custody by the Saint Clair Police Department in separate incidents.


According to Chief Williams Dempsey, the first was taken into custody on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 around 3:15pm.  Dempsey said while responding to a disturbance report in the 300 Block of Cherry Street, officers completed a warrant check one of the individuals involved, Anthony Martin, 39, of Schuylkill Haven.

Martin was found to have several outstanding warrants and was taken into custody.  Custody was later transferred to the Schuylkill Haven Police Department.

The second incident occurred a half hour later when a traffic stop was done near the intersection of Route 61 and Terry Rich Boulevard.  Police found that a passenger in the vehicle, Keith Lash, 37, of Saint Clair was wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police. 

Lash was taken into custody and transferred to the Pennsylvania State Police for processing.
