Stolen Vehicle Recovered in New Philadelphia

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville have recovered a stolen vehicle in the borough of New Philadelphia.


According to police, on Saturday, February 15th, 2020, around 8:00pm,  a State Trooper identified a 1999 Toyota Camry that was reported stolen.

The State Trooper followed the vehicle until it was parked on Wetherill Street.  State Police confirmed with the West Hazleton Police that it was stolen and arranged for it to be towed from the scene.

State Police did not say if anyone was arrested but did say the incident is still under investigation.
