Tamaqua Woman Injured After Falling Out of Vehicle Along Highway near Hazleton

A Tamaqua woman suffered minor injuries after she fell out of vehicle along a highway near Hazleton on Sunday.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Hazleton, on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 around 2:50pm, Kayla Hoover, 28, of Tamaqua fell out of a vehicle, being driven by Richard Michlovsky, 58, also of Tamaqua.

Police say Hoover, while not wearing a seatbelt, and travelling on the CanDO Expressway in Hazle Township,  fell out when the passenger door of a Volvo S40 malfunctioned.

Michlovsky stopped the vehicle, and picked up Hoover and took her to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
