Trail Derailment Reported in Nesquehoning Sunday Afternoon

Just before 4:00pm, Sunday, a train derailment was reported in the borough of Nesquehoning, Carbon County.


The derailment was reported around 3:50pm with multiple cargo cars being derailed near the intersection of Mermon Avenue and East Mill Street.

From Schuylkill County, the Hometown Fire Police have been called to the scene to assist.
