CORONAVIRUS: 103 New Positive Cases; First Positive Case in Hazleton

On Saturday, the Department of Health confirmed 103 new positive cases of the COVID-19 virus in Pennsylvania.

The coronavirus, or COVID-19, has now been detected in 28 of the state's 67 counties.

As of March 21st, 2020 at 3:00pm, no cases have been announced within Schuylkill County.

On Saturday afternoon, Hazleton Mayor Jeff Cusat announced a new case in the city of Hazleton.  The individual that is reported to have the test positive for the virus is said to be quarantined at his home.

The current tally in Pennsylvania as of this posting from the Department of Health is 371.  The Department of Health also reported that 3,766 suspected cases have been tested as negative.
