The following statement was issued by the borough:
Mahanoy City Borough office will be closed to the public until April 1st, 2020 due to safety concerns of COVID-19. All essential workers will be in place and citizens can contact the borough office by phone with any concerns that can’t wait until April 1st and we will evaluate them on a case by case basis.
Community Day meeting for this week and the Home Rule Meeting scheduled for March 24th at 6:00 pm will be cancelled.
