No Injuries Reported in Crash near Ringtown

No injuries were reported in a crash near Ringtown late Monday.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the one-vehicle crash occurred around 7:30pm,  on Jerry's Road in Union Township.

Police say Kelly Pekera, 21, pulled out from a driveway and struck a mailbox, then swerved and struck a tree on the opposite side of the roadway.

Pekera's Nissan Rogue sustained heavy damage to the front end.

Pekera, and 2 year old child in the backseat were wearing their seatbelt and were not injured in the crash.

Pekera's vehicle required towing from the scene, which was done by Stauffer's Towing.

Ringtown Valley Fire and the Columbia Hose Co., Shenandoah assisted at the scene.
