Pottsville Man Found to Be Wanted on Warrant After Car Fire

A Pottsville man was found to be wanted on an active warrant after his car caught fire in Butler Township.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Friday, February 6th, 2020 around 2:30pm, Troopers were dispatched to High Ridge Park Road for a report of a vehicle on fire.

An investigation revealed that the owner of the vehicle, Michael Brown, 38, of Pottsville, had an active arrest warrant.

Brown was taken into custody and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
