Vehicle Stolen from Englewood Overnight; Found Abandoned in New Jersey

The Butler Township Police Department along with Police in New Jersey are investigating after a vehicle was stolen from Englewood and later found in New Jersey early Friday.


According to Butler Township Police Chief Edward Tarantelli, a 2017 White Dodge Journey was stolen while it was parked outside a home overnight in Englewood near Frackville.

The vehicle was later found abandoned with a broken axle in New Jersey early Friday.

Chief Tarantelli says the theft occurred sometime between 9:00pm, Thursday and 6:00am, Friday.
