Four Businesses Robbed at Gunpoint Overnight and Early Sunday Morning in Schuylkill County

Police in Schuylkill County are investigating 4 armed robberies that occurred overnight and early this morning in southern Schuylkill County.

Three of the burglaries are being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven. 

The robberies took place at and on:

Saturday, April 25th, 2020 - 9:15pm at the Mobil Gas Station in Cressona
Sunday, April 26th, 2020 - 6:10am at the Speedway Gas Station in Pine Grove Township
Sunday, April 26th, 2020 - 6:55am at the Auburn Food Mart in West Brunswick Township

There is a fourth robbery that took place early Sunday, on April 26th, 2020 at the Vista Fuel on Route 61 in Schuylkill Haven.  That robbery is being investigated by the Schuylkill Haven Police Department but is believed to be connected to the other three.

Police say the suspect appeared to be the same individual in all four incidents.

The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, approximately 6’ to 6’5” wearing a black “Realtree” hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. The sweatshirt had a camouflage pattern in the center of it behind the orange “Realtree” logo. He was wearing a camouflage beanie hat as well as a purple / blue face mask – possibly a bandana. He also wore blue jeans and black sneakers which had light-colored soles. 

During each of the robberies, the suspect pulled out a black handgun and demanded cash from various places within the businesses. 

The suspect fled each scene on foot. 

Police say that the suspect possibly had some type of scarring above the bridge of his nose. 

The suspect also appears to walk with a slight limp.
