Shenandoah Police Make Arrest for July 2019 "Shots Fired" Incident

Shenandoah Police made an arrest this week after an investigation into a "shots fired" incident led to a Pottsville man.


According to Shenandoah Police Chief George Carado,  officers have been investigating an incident were shots were fired at a residence in the borough in July of 2019.  The investigation led police to identifying the suspect as Robert Calcano, 27, of Pottsville.

On Monday, April 27th, 2020, Shenandoah Police obtained a warrant for Calcano's arrest.  He was taken into custody on the same day by Pottsville Police at a residence on Market Street in the city.

Calcano was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker on felony charges of  Persons not possess a firearm and Receiving Stolen Property.

Calcano was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 cash bail.
