State Police Investigating Death in Wayne Township

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death of a man in Wayne Township on Wednesday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, April 29th, 2020, around 8:30am, Troopers responded to 6 Blue Mountain Road, Wayne Township to serve a warrant on Justin Wolfe, 28.

When Wolfe didn't answer the door, a search warrant was obtained for the residence and when members of the SERT team made entry, Wolfe was found dead inside the home.

The investigation is ongoing pending toxicology results.

State Troopers were responding with a warrant for Wolfe's arrest after an incident early Wednesday morning.

According to court papers, State Police had filed charges of person not to possess a firearm, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, and harassment after Wolfe allegedly fired a gun in front of his home towards two females during an argument around 12:30am Wednesday.
