According to Ashland Police, on Sunday, May 17th, 2020, around 7:50am, Officer Daniel Weikel was dispatched to 819 W. Centre St. for a disturbance.

The caller told dispatch that the male in Apartment #303 was yelling and threatening people.

Officer Weikel arrived on scene and spoke with the caller who stated that the male, later identified as Nathan Wood, was currently in his apartment and still yelling.

Officer Weikel went up to the apartment and could hear the male yelling that he is going to kill people.
