Martha M. Rautzhan, 92, of Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, formerly of Mill Creek passed away Wednesday, May 13th, at Seton Manor.

Martha was born in Schuylkill Haven, PA on February 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Florence (Dallago) and George Sterner.

She was the widow of William Rautzhan who died in 2005.

Martha was co owner and cook with her husband Bill Rautzhan at Rautzhan's Tavern in Mill Creek also had her own Beauty Shop in Haven Fair Lawn.

She enjoyed Playing Bingo especially at Goodwill Hose Company in Cressona. Her family referred her as the Bingo Queen.

Martha was the last member of her immediate family in addition top her husbandshe was preceded in death by two sons William Jr. and Lance a great grandson Elias Gonzalez
Martha issurvived by two sons Brian, husband ofTerry Rautzhan, of Pottsville, PA;Gregory, husband ofDenise Rautzhan, of Orwigsburg, PA;she is survived by 8 Grandchildren Lance Rautzhan, Jamie Clemas, Amy Rautzhan,Leslie Rautzhan Murray, Morgan Rautzhan, Alex Rautzhan. Gregory Rautzhan Jr, and Andrew Rautzhan and six great grandchildren Ryan Clemas, Landon Clemas, Keegan Murray,Tristan Murray, Anthony Gonzalez and Amari Gonzalez, two daughter in laws Kendal Rautzhan of Lewisburg and Crystal Rautzhan of Myrtle Beach.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at on Saturday, May 16th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, PA with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik
Interment will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.

The family requests donations to Seton Manor Activity Fund 1000 Seton Drive Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Joan G. McDonald, RN, 89, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Schuylkill Center. 

Born in Pottsville, PA on February 1, 1931, a daughter of the late Viola and Clarence Letcher. 

She was the widow of Donald A. McDonald. 

For more than 40 years, Joan worked as a Registered Nurse at the former Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, primarily in the newborn nursery. She was a member of the Schuylkill Democratic Ladies Guild and the Red Hat Society. 

Joan's family was of paramount importance to her. Her loving and nurturing way was felt by all. Joan is survived by three sons David, husband of Carol McDonald, of Pottsville, Robert, husband of Jayne McDonald, of Schuylkill Haven; James, husband of Beth McDonald, of Athens, Ohio; grandchildren Laura Prego wife of Brandon & mother of Aiden and Aubrey Prego, Patrick McDonald husband of Kira & father of Jacquelyn McDonald, Thomas McDonald and Matthew McDonald. Grand stepdaughters Sara Gotthardt and Emily Harris and great grand stepchildren Riley, Aubree and Madison Gotthardt She is also survived by Marie Letcher, sister-in-law, nieces & a nephew. She will be missed by all. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by brothers James S. and Robert Letcher and James's wife Eileen. 

Due to the current pandemic services and interment will be held privately.

Sylvia J. Reed, 87, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, May 14th, at her residence. 

Born in Cressona, PA on June 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Marguerite Kramer and Francis E. Reed. 

She was a graduate of Cressona High School and was last employed by Lehigh Valley Dairy as an office manager. She was a member of the Cressona Alumni Association and was a former girl scout leader in Schuylkill Haven and Cressona.

Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Cynthia, wife of Charles Miller, of Wyomissing; Jaymie, wife of Kevin Thomas, of Gettysburg; a son, Tory, husband of Louise Jenkins, of Schuylkill Haven; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a brother James Reed husband of Diane, Auburn. 

Sylvia is preceded in death by her sons Todd and Timothy Jenkins, a daughter Trudy Jenkins and a brother Francis "Skip" Reed, Jr. 

The family requests donations in memory of Timothy and Trudy to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 42040 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123. 

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Kristine Ann Moyer, 65, of Pottsville, PA and formerly of Tamaqua, PA died on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Pottsville. 

Born in Coaldale, PA on April 11, 1955, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Agnes M. (nee Hughes) Moyer. A high school graduate, Kristine worked as a machine operator in the garment industry at the former J. E. Morgan Knitting Mills, Hometown, PA. 

She is survived by her sister, Susan E. Moyer of Tamaqua, PA.
