Tremont Woman Facing Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

A woman from Tremont is facing drug charges after a traffic stop earlier this week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Monday, May 18th, 2020, around 3:40pm, a traffic stop was conducted on Samantha Moore, 30, of Tremont, on Molleystown Road in Tremont Township for an expired inspection sticker and registration.

Upon further investigation, Moore was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

State Police filed charges through Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi's office.
