17 Year Old Threatens Man with Knife

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, around 4:00pm, a 34 year old male and a 17 year old female were involved in an argument inside a home on West Main Street, Girardville.

Police say it was reported that the 17 year old female picked up a knife and threatened the male with it.

State Police handed the case over to the Schuylkill County Juvenile Probation Office.

Verbal Argument Turns Physical in West Mahanoy Township

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Monday, June 15th, 2020 around 7:40am, troopers responded to South Spencer Street in West Mahanoy Township.

Police say Robert Leibowitz, 57, of West Mahanoy Township was involved in a verbal argument turn physical with a female.  Leibowitz allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck area and pushed her off a porch.  

Charges are pending.

New Philadelphia Woman Facing Harassment Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, troopers are investigating an incident that occurred on Wednesday, May 17th, 2020 around 6:00pm.

Police a woman reported to police that her neighbor, Denise Hossler, 55, of New Philadelphia confronted her on her front porch.  Hossler then allegedly pushed the neighbor's furniture across her front porch and through a "smile your on camera" sign at her.

State Police filed charges of harassment at Magisterial District Judge David Plachko's office.

Pottsville Woman Facing Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on June 17th, 2020 around 7:00pm, troopers were dispatched to the Rite Aid at the Kings Village near Minersville for a report of a woman talking to herself, walking with a sway, and appearing intoxicated.

When troopers arrived, they were told by witnesses that the womanwas unresponsive in the bathroom of Rite Aid.  Troopers found the woman asleep on the floor with several items that she hadn't purchased yet on the floor around her.

The woman, identified as Tamara Eiler, 39, of Pottsville told police that she had several Four Loco alcoholic beverages.

While Eiler attempted to pay for the items she had taken into the bathroom with her, she began yelling, screaming, and arguing with employees and State Troopers.

State Troopers charged Eiler with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Kaska Man Facing Public Drunkenness Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on June 12th, 2020 around 3:40am, state troopers were dispatched to Route 61 in North Manheim Township for a suspicious person.

Troopers arrived and found Gerald Murphy, 42, of Kaska under the influence of a controlled substance.

Murphy was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
