Lonn Fisher, 63, of Shenandoah, died Tuesday June 16, 2020 at his Residence.

Born in Wilmington, DE, September 18, 1956, He was a son of the late Herbert and Doris (Towers) Fisher.

He was a Car Salesman at Independence Toyota, Hazleton, PA.

Surviving are 3 daughters Danielle Bergeron of Galloway, NJ; Stephanie Swift of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and Kara Fisher of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Services will be held at the convenience of Family.

Carl “Bus” Wiscount, 82, of Minersville, passed away peacefully of natural causes with his family at his side on Friday at home.

Born on July 15, 1937 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Joseph C. Wiscount and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Linn Wiscount. He attended Tremont High School and worked for Federal-Mogul Corporation, Lancaster before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Norma Jean Hudock, in 1999; four brothers, Joseph F.Wiscount, in childhood, Robert “Pete” Wiscount, Michael Wiscount, Sr., and William “Butch” Wiscount.

Surviving are four children, Joanne “Jodi” Koshulsky, (spouse, John), Branchdale, Dr. Richard Wiscount (spouse, Catherine), Allentown, Susan Witmer (spouse, Grant), Pine Grove, and Kevin Wiscount (spouse, Denise), Tuscon, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Daniel Koshulsky (companion, Victoria Thomason), Harry Koshulsky, Eric and Stephanie Wiscount, Jeremy Witmer and Shaun Witmer (spouse, Crystal), and Geoffrey Wiscount; three great-grandchildren, Avery Koshulsky, Colin and Zoe Witmer; his companion, Paula Rodgers, Minersville. He is also survived by four sisters, Elizabeth “Cindy” Conway, Branchdale, Judith Cleary (spouse, Thomas), Tremont, Cheryl “Chip” Mack (spouse, Laine, Sr.), Tremont and Bonita “Bonnie” Ege, Schuylkill Haven; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Wiscount, Tremont, Yvonne Wiscount, Pottsville, and Cheryl Wiscount, Lake Wynonah; nieces and nephews.

James R. Morgan Jr., 67, Harrisburg passed away peacefully Thursday evening at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Ashland he was a son of the late James R. and Jane M. Swartz Morgan. He had been employed as the Director of Security for the .Pennsylvania Lottery.

Over the years Jim found multiple hobbies he was interested in including playing guitar. He also enjoyed traveling to the Outer Banks, NC where he taught his grandson how to fish and also enjoyed sailing his boat on the Chesapeake Bay.

Jim is survived by his son Adam Morgan and his daughter Jenna wife of Ryan Powell, his sister Pamela Jane Morgan and his loving grandchildren Faith and Garrett Powell also by several cousins and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Lois K. Van Orden, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.

Helen Antoinette Mazack (Mezyk), 96, of Shenandoah, passed away on Wednesday, June 17th at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.

Born in Turkey Run on December 16th, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Katherine. She was a sister to the late Michael, Alberta, Martin, John, and Mary. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

As a child of God and saved by Jesus Christ, she was kind, caring and thoughtful.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23rd at 11am in the Holy Ghost Polish National Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights and will be officiated by Fr. Robert Plitchta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist PNCC, Frackville, Pa and/or the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.

Dennis E Starr, age 74, of Fearnot, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his residence..

He was born on Thursday, September 20, 1945, in Rough and Ready, a son of the late Russell W Starr and the late Mabel H Reiner Starr.

He was a 1963 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

He was a Sergeant in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Dennis retired from Honeywell, Mar Lin, in 2001.

He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready.

He was also a lifetime member of Gratz VFW Post 2385.

Dennis loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two sisters, Marie Miller and Beverly Wedde.

He is survived by his wife Cindy J Gilbert Starr, to whom he was married for twenty-nine years.

He is also survived by a son, Troy D Starr and his wife Georgina of Valley View; a grandson, Tyler C Starr of Valley View; a granddaughter, Morganne C Starr of Asheville, NC; a sister, Christine Gessner and her husband James of Leck Kill; and several nieces and nephews.

Following Dennis's request, there will be no services.
