According to the borough, a water main break was discovered early Saturday on Hoffman Boulevard near the intersection with Brock Street.
The break has caused a loss in water pressure to customers in the borough of Ashland as well as parts of Butler Township near Fountain Springs.
Ashland Borough residents are asked to boil their water for at least 1 minute and let cool before using until further notice.
