State Police Investigating After Man Points Gun at Driver on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County

During an incident on Interstate 81 on Wednesday, a Carbon County man allegedly pointed a gun at another driver in Schuylkill County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident on Wednesday, June 17th, 2020, around 3:30pm, on Interstate 81 Northbound near mile marker 121.2 in Butler Township.

Police say during the incident a 57 year old Harrisburg man passed Ryan Wickkiser, 32, of Weatherly in the right lane.  

This led to both passing each other numerous times up the Interstate.

As the 57 year old passed Wickkiser in the left lane, the man said he saw Wickkiser pointing a handgun directly out of the driver's side window.

State Police are still investigating and will be filing charges of making terroristic threats on Wickkiser through Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale's Office in Frackville.
