Woman Threatens Man with Knife in West Mahanoy Township

A Shenandoah woman is facing charges after she allegedly threatened a man with a knife in West Mahanoy Township.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020, prior to 8:40am when Bianca Montero, 21, of Shenandoah arrived at Jake's Fireworks on Industrial Road near Frackville and began a verbal confrontation with a male employee, then yielded a knife placing several people in fear of injury.

Police found Montero walking away from the scene in possession of the knife.

Montero was taken into custody, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $15,000 cash bail.  Montero made bail on May 28th, 2020.

Montero is facing charges of simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and being in possession of an instrument of a crime.
