Coroner Called to Crash Early Saturday, Route 61 Closed near Route 895 Intersection

As of 1:15am, Route 61 is currently closed due to a fatal crash.

The crash occurred around 12:15am in the area of Coal Mountain Road in West Brunswick Township.  

Early reports were that the crash involved two vehicles colliding head on.

A Schuylkill County Coroner was called to the scene.

Traffic is currently being diverted onto Route 895 then through Orwigsburg.
