Shenandoah Man Facing DUI and Drug Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Friday, August 21st, 2020 around 10:30pm, troopers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of North Main Street and West Lloyd Street.

Police say a 41 year old man from Shenandoah was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

The driver was taken into custody for DUI and consented to a blood draw.

The State Police filed charges through Magisterial District Judge 

The identity of the arrestee was not released with the report.

Shenandoah Man with Warrant Taken into Custody

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 around 9:15am, a traffic stop led to the finding of a 33 year old Shenandoah man that was wanted on a felony warrant in another county.  The traffic stop occurred near the intersection of North Main and East Lloyd Street.

The driver was also taken into custody for DUI.

The driver was taken into custody on the warrant and charges are pending the results of a blood draw.

The identity of the arrestee was not released with the report.

Marijuana Seized from Zion Grove Man After Traffic Stop in Shenandoah

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of North Main and East Lloyd Street around 1:00am.

During the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 42 year old Zion Grove man was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.

The marijuana was seized and State Police are to file charges.

Kingston Man Facing DUI Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Thursday, August 20th, around 3:00pm, State Police from Frackville and PSP SHIELD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Interstate 81 southbound in Frailey Township.

The driver, a 54 year old man from Kingston, who was driving a commercial Hino Box truck,was found to be heavily under the influence of alcohol.  The driver was taken into custody and taken back to the barracks where he agreed to submit to a breath test.  The driver was found to have a BAC of .236%.  

DUI charges are to be filed.

License Plate Reported Stolen from Motorcycle


The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a theft.

Police say the victim reported a license plate stolen from his motorcycle while it was parked along Sillyman Street in Cressona between July 1st, 2020 and July 9th, 2020.

The plate bears PA Registration 9NL31.

Ashland Woman Facing DUI Charges

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on August 8th, 2020 around 12:20am, troopers were on patrol on Peach Mountain Road in Norwegian Township when they observed a vehicle that after running it's information was reported stolen.

A traffic stop was initiated and while speaking with officers about other violations, SKyler Ruskuski, 20, of Ashland was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Ruskuski was taken to an area hospital for a blood draw and released per Rule 519.
