Two Injured After Motorcycles Crash on Pottsville Minersville Highway

Two people were injured after a crash involving two motorcycles on the Pottsville Minersville Highway near Minersville on Saturday evening.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred when Cornelius Green, of Cressona, and Kintay Moore, of Pottsville were traveling south on the Pottsville Minersville Highway at high rate of speed on separate motorcycles.

Police say, while negotiating a curve, Green crossed in front of Moore, causing both to drive off the right side of the highway.

Both riders were forced airborne from their motorcycles with both coming to a stop in the parking lot of the Kings Village Plaza.

Both Moore and Green sustained serious injuries and were taken to an area hospital.

Assisting State Police at the scene were the Minersville Police Department, Branch Reilly Police, Schuylkill EM, Minersville EMS, Citizen's Fire Fire Company from Marlin, Seltzer Fire Company, as well as local fire police.
