Two in Custody After Frackville Armed Robbery and Pursuit into Southern Schuylkill County

Two people are in custody after an armed robbery and pursuit in Schuylkill County Wednesday evening.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, late Wednesday, an armed robbery occurred in Frackville.

The two suspects involved with the robbery, Damar Jordan Coad, 19, of Reading, and John Luis-Fidanqui-Martin, 18, of New York, New York. fled the scene south on Route 61.

A pursuit ensued and suspects' vehicle became disabled near the intersection of Route 61 and Route 895 near Deer Lake.

A search was conducted throughout the night and both suspects were taken into custody near New Ringgold around 7:45am, Thursday.

Information on their charges were not available as of this posting.

State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
