Blue Mountain High School Moves to "All Online" Instruction After 100 Placed in Quarantine Due to COVID-19

The Blue Mountain School District announced on Friday that it will move to all online instruction from now through the Thanksgiving break.

The announcement comes after 3 students in the high school tested positive for COVID-19 in the last week.  After consulting with the Department of Health and conducting contact tracing, approximately 100 staff and students were quarantined, according to the District.

The movement to all online instruction also includes any students that were attending Schuylkill Technology Center.

The all online learning will begin Monday, November 16th with students returning to "in school" learning on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020.
